Cultural revival in the Marquesas Islands

AFAR plays a leading role in two community service projects on Tahuata, one of the most remote islands in the Marquesas.  Two of these projects, building a museum and restoring the ancient dance ground, came to fruition through AFAR’s close cooperation with the local community.  Both projects are in Vaitahu Village.
